It was a crisp fall day and after running a couple of errands I found myself struggling to find the on-ramp to the 10 Freeway. The sign, heading east bound on Pico was almost entirely hidden behind a massive tree. As I struggled to read it, out of the corner of my eye, I saw what appeared to be "one weird shoe." I swerved onto the last available road and then after navigating my way, by foot through three complex crosswalks, risked stepping into a blind corner to photograph this sad male loafer. Though I was a little late getting to lunch, it was well worth it, and if you know the mate to this shoe, you know where to find it. Pico and 34th just under the bridge.
