One Weird Shoe: Oklahoma

Moments after I took this, the largest snowfall in 20 plus years fell on the Sooner State. Hope whoever lost this shoe just had one leg or else another pair of shoes cause it was freezing.

One Legged Basketball Player

We all recall the one-armed pitcher, Jim Abbott from the Angels in the 80's, but somewhere in Studio City is a one legged basketball player.

Camo'ed and Squashed

I almost missed this One Weird Shoe but due to terrible traffic on the 10-405 Exchange, I was able to use the standstill to pay homage to this flatted, dirty soldier whose been gone from his mate for a long, long time.

405

The 405 is to One Weird Shoes what New York City is to Americans. This clunky shoe looks like it belonged to a guy with a creepy mustache.

One Weird Sock

Laundry day or was it something more sinister?

Arizona

This fabulous One Weird Shoe was discovered by a loyal follower. Thanks for the One Weird Shoe Arizona.

Late for Lunch

It was a crisp fall day and after running a couple of errands I found myself struggling to find the on-ramp to the 10 Freeway. The sign, heading east bound on Pico was almost entirely hidden behind a massive tree. As I struggled to read it, out of the corner of my eye, I saw what appeared to be "one weird shoe." I swerved onto the last available road and then after navigating my way, by foot through three complex crosswalks, risked stepping into a blind corner to photograph this sad male loafer. Though I was a little late getting to lunch, it was well worth it, and if you know the mate to this shoe, you know where to find it. Pico and 34th just under the bridge.
