One Weird Shoe Quandary

Typically, I don't count pairs. If you send me a pair, great. I'll put it up cause I am grateful for the participation, but as for myself, a seasoned 1WS hunter, and this is a real pickle.

1WS #1


I'm driving up Highland past the Kodak Theater, and in the crosswalk just past the Renaissance Hotel, is a shoe. Great. I stop, park my car at a gas station near by, wait for the light, and bam. Got the pick. I get into my car, turn it on, happy with myself and head on up highland. Then BAM! Another shoe. Just chillin' on the sidewalk. Of course I pull a u turn and park in the driveway of a weed store and wander down to this one. I'm happy, because it is on a sidewalk and not in a busy road so I can put some thought into the One Weird Shoe composition.

After I pop the pick, it occurs to me that this may be the mate to the previous 1WS. I compare the two pics and sure enough. Same kind of shoe....

So the dilemma is this. They were separated. Not even close to one another. Probably three city blocks. Is this a 1WS sighting or not?
